Barcelona Forum on PhD.Research in Information and Communication Technologies

The PhD Program in Electronic Engineering organizes, together with other Programs in the ICT area and the support of the Doctorate School, the Barcelona Forum on PhD Research in Information and Communication Technologies. This Forum aims to be a showcase for the research activity developed by PhD sutdents within the research groups in the ICT area in UPC, as well as a contact point for PhD students and private companies. In the different editions, representatives from main european and national companies in the ICT area have shared their view about the role of PhDs in industry, the value of scientific formation and transferable skills, university‐industry collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship, while students have the opportunity to present and make diffusion of their research works.
