Welcome to the Doctoral Program in Electronic Engineering, which is jointly organized by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Buiding of the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) in Palma (Mallorca.)

With over 260 PhD graduates in its 30+ year-old history, this is one of the largest doctorate Programs in UPC and UIB, and is awarded the "Mention of Quality" in the periods 2004 to 2007 (MCD2004-00336) and 2007 to 2010 (MCD2007-00147) and has also been recognized with the "Mention Towards Excellence" in the period 2011-2014 (MEE2011- 0690).
