MCIA-Motion Control and Industrial Applications

The MCIA Group studies the modeling, simulation, control techniques, implementation and applications of power electronics systems applied to industrial control and electric drives.
Specifically, the Group develops digital control of power converters, and industrial and drives control loops, especially for aeronautics applications.

Electronic systems for energy management and energy efficiency improving are also subjects of interest, as well as data mining for system diagnostic and prognostic.
