Academic Regulations

Students of the Doctoral Program in Electronic Engineering are subject to three levels of regulations:

• Spanish legislation for doctoral studies
• Academic Regulations for Doctoral Studies issued by the University
• Internal Academic Regulations of the Electronic Engineering Doctoral Program.

UPC Academic Regulations for doctoral studies

All PhD programs in UPC are under the Academic Regulations approved in its last version on October 2019.

This document aims to provide the student with clear progress itineraries and understanding of the evaluation criteria in the different stages of their PhD (admission, progress assessment, deposit, etc), and includes most practical information related to the academic management of the Program. Remember that the academic aspects of the Doctoral Program in Electronic Engineering are managed by the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program (CAPD) in each of the two Program sites (UPC and UIB).

In addition, there is a specific regulation concerning the presentation of the thesis as a collection of articles (article-based thesis).
